ERROR: “Bitsum’s web server does not appear to be accessible.”

1. Check that your internet connection is working. Try accessing https://activate.bitsum.com through a web browser. It should redirect to https://bitsum.com.
2. Check for any firewalls that may be blocking the connection to activate.bitsum.com.
3. In some cases, we’ve seen the system HOSTS file modified by prior use of a software crack (piracy) that prevents connection to our servers. Correct it by this guidance.
4. Try reinstalling from https://dl.bitsum.com/files/processlassosetup64.exe in case you somehow got a bad copy.
5. It’s possible that the issue is some intermittent network problem and will self-resolve, so you may want to simply try again later.
