ParkControl / Park Control - Performant Core...

In Park Control if I choose to use 1: Performant Cores does this force only Performant Cores and doesn't use any Efficient Cores? Or if it needs to will use some Efficient Cores if needed? My issue is BF2042 game is very bad on Efficient Cores. Also forcing Efficiency Mode doesn't help as BF2042 still goes into E-Cores. I've tried CPU Sets and CPU Affinity both have not worked well in regard to hit registration.
So, I've gone to BIOS and turned of E-Cores which worked well. Only issue this game eats 100% usage on my 13900KS with a RTX 3080 when E-Cores are turned off. So, I'm left trying this new solution with Performant core forced via Park Control.
So, my question is how does this rule set with 1: Performant Cores work with Windows 11?

My best guess, if there is indeed a correlation, would be that your system is teetering on the edge of thermal stability. I recommend you run some extended stress tests in an aggressive power plan.minecraftle game A properly built system can maintain a full load indefinitely. Check your temps during this test. Let me know how it goes!

Im seeing more activity on the third core than on other cores but i really cant tell what uses it so intensely and  frankly theres no reason why it should. please add this as a feature if possible

'Reset Configuration' is specific to each configuration profile.

Use 'File / Config Profiles / Manage Config Profiles...' to delete the named profiles.

After resetting the config, you may need to reboot to clear any previously applied process rules.

Options>reset configuration does NOT reset the entire PL to defaults.
I can still see profiles I created and the like.
How do I nuke everything to just get back to PL as it was installed without any changes?

ParkControl / Bitsum Park Control… random re...

Hello,
I tried messing around with Process Lasso tonight. Still trying to figure out how to set up CPU sets as I have entire NVMEs with games on them.

However noticed something weird. One of the YouTube videos recommended downloading Bitsum's Park Control alongside Process Lasso and enabling Bitsum "Highest Performance Plan"... fair enough, so I did that. However with Park Control I had three random reboots in a row. Event viewer tells me that it was a Kernel-Power issue. All I did was move a bunch of processes to non cache cores (BIOS preference is set to frequency)

I uninstalled Park Control and everything is fine.

System has been stable the last one month till these three reboots in a span of 10 minutes

Any theories as to what caused this?

P.s. 7950x3D/EXPO on 6000MhzC30 2x32 RAM/ PBO is on, CO set to -22

Yes, I've been using Process Lasso for a while now, mainly to optimize my gaming performance. By assigning specific applications to different logical cores, I've noticed a significant improvement in hit registration and overall FPS stability. Core 0 no longer gets overloaded, leading to smoother gameplay and better responsiveness.
