Title: Check for updates in 3.03.19 only fetches a doctype header, not version

I just wanted to notify you, "check for updates" in 3.03.19 only fetches a doctype header, not a version number.

Btw, that's a rather...advanced spam protection you have.. (the verification to accept a post).

This was a temporary server anomaly, it should work fine now.

I'm sorry to say it still does (4.01 transitional doctype to be exact).

That's strange, I will look into it. Process Lasso was working fine, so I assumed PECompact was as well.

Fixed. Apparently the page parsing in the older product wasn't quite up to the standards of the parsing in the newer product.
