Title: PL - Creating Narrow Main Window Display
Post by: MMcVeigh on April 25, 2015, 02:06:21 PM
Some versions back, the main PL window could be manually sized to show as few as two columns.  I like to have PL running showing just a narrow display on the side of the screen with narrow performance graph and CPU utilization.  Newer versions cannot be squeezed very far.  I wrote about this previously and the response was the change was due to attempts to fix overlapping tab areas.  At that time you said to mention my request again later.

Please see if you can edit the GUI layout so that I can squeeze the window to a narrow display.  I have attached an example.

Thanks,

I did work on this, by resolving the display problem through limiting the minimum window width. You can no longer squeeze it to such a small width.

Whether I allow it to be minimized to a thin X pixels wide, I don't know. It complicates things, but I'll give it some thought.

Have teh same need as MMcVeigh
Good product have bought many to keep old laptop installs going.
1280X1024 screens this window is way too big.
Any kind of hack to narrow the window - Even temporarily?
The "dirty hack" for XP worked just fine but reset when you opened the window.
