Title: ParkControl v1.6
Post by: Jeremy Collake on July 28, 2014, 03:44:06 AM
ParkControl has been updated to v1.6. This freeware gem lets users view and tweak CPU core parking settings for each available power profile.

This update refines the UI.

Talking about ParkControl, can you provide a function to detect the PowerCFG registry, or the Max Value etc?

As you know, there are some software(you know which it is..) change the Max Value on the registry directly, which might causing other function that rely on Core-parking will having issues, or ParkControl will not working because of that.

So I think this is a good thing to provide a function to detect the failure setting and repair it, or just detect and warning about it. :)

That's a good idea! Certainly, I should add such a safeguard. I will see what I can do.

UI further refined today. Updated to 1.7.

I'll be continuing to make incremental enhancements to this ancillary freeware utility in the coming weeks. ParkControl is not one of my 'primary' projects, but I endeavor to make improvements across the board.

Yup, but it can still be count as a free tool inside the Process Lasso. ;D
