Title: ParkControl v1.0.0.9
Post by: Jeremy Collake on September 03, 2012, 12:24:10 AM
This update adds some helpful sliders to make it easier to deal with the counter-intuitive nature of the 'minimum number of unparked cores' setting Windows uses. This will be in Process Lasso v6.0.1.5 and later, and may be updated a little more in the coming days with minor cosmetic and usability improvements. This is 100% FREEWARE from Bitsum. Remember, we need your support so we can continue offering utilities like this. Please, consider purchasing Process Lasso (http://bitsum.com/prolasso.php) or making a donation.

Within Process Lasso v6.0.1.5 beta and above, ParkControl is now the first utility to be built with VC11 (VS2012) build tools. This is because it is NT6+ only utility anyway. I also added appropriate warnings when launching it. I look forward to switching more of our tools to this newer build platform. It offers numerous security and optimization improvements. Soon, whenever Microsoft issues their update to VS2012 to restore XP/2003 (NT 6.1) as a build target, I can switch everything to VC11.
