Title: How to run multiple instances of regedit.exe?
Post by: hanemach_gt on March 12, 2012, 06:17:10 PM
Though present on many websites, I've decided to publish it yet here, since it's very useful for those who work with Windows Registry a lot.
Here's the command line you are looking for:

regedit /m

regedit /m

Very nice. This is very helpful when you're trying to compare entries.

Yes, handy, if you have no other editors. You can also copy regedit to another location and start the copy. I usually have a renamed regedit.com and regedit.scr handy in case a bad guy ruins my exe's, and they can be run at will, too.
