Service Management

You might say - management of all these processes is great, but what about Services? Well, it turns out that a service is always backed by a process. Now, a process can hold multiple services, but it is always backed by a process. Thus, we have integrated the service names into the process base name. The rules and such will adhere to this, so you can search for a specific service. Here is a sample of what you might see in the GUI:

But it goes much deeper than that. By knowing what services are behind a process, Process Governor can properly issue stop or start commands to each - and give them time to shut down the right away, and perhaps more importantly start up the right way (or at all).

This began in v5, though wsa expaned greatly in v6.0.0.52.
